YOGA Salitasyon Soley was originally created for the children at Grown in Haiti as a resource to refer to when wanting to do a full body stretch. It is a bi-lingual coloring book that takes readers through a simple sun salutation flow and mindfulness prompts in Haitian Kreyol and English. I wish I had digestible wellness books in Kreyol like this when I was younger so I created my own and brought a copy with me during my May 2022 visit. The positive and interactive response I received from the Grown in Haiti community every weekend encouraged me to really launch this thing. My hope is that other Haitian students, their families and communities will learn this simple flow and more importantly, be more in tune with their bodies and overall wellness. I encourage you to share this book with whoever you feel needs it!
